News & Updates
Hi Folks!
Not so many new blog posts here as I’ve been working on my first book for kids – How to Stop Freaking Out, the middle-grade companion to How to Stop Losing Your Sh*t With Your Kids.
This full-color, highly illustrated book for readers ages 8 – 12 is available for pre-order now, and it will hit the shelves in September 2024.
There will be more updates coming soon, but in the meanwhile, I’m currently scheduling my podcast tour for How to Stop Freaking Out.
If you’ve got a podcast about parenting or freaking out or freaking out while parenting or teaching your kids how to not freak out, let’s talk!

Respecting Everybody’s Body: Teaching Children About Consent

The Most Damaging Myths About Motherhood
I was recently interview for this important piece about the most damaging myths of motherhood. Here's a bit of what I had to say: Myth: As a mom, you need to fix it. “There is one highly pervasive myth about motherhood that most of us aren’t even aware of, yet it...
How a Smartwatch Can Make Parenting Easier
I didn’t buy a smartwatch because I thought it might make parenting easier—I bought it because it was cute and shiny and I like new toys. (I owned a Casio calculator watch long before they were popular. Oh, wait: They were never popular.) It’s been fun to fiddle...
How To Be Less Distracted With Your Kids
You want to be more present for your children, to engage with them from a place of intention and connection rather than distraction and knee-jerk reactions. But more often than you’d like to admit, you’re bored or preoccupied, sneaking glances at your phone, reviewing...
Don’t Take The Last Run: Advice From My Father
Father’s Day is coming up this weekend, which has got me thinking about my Dad. He gave me a lot of advice over the years. I listened to all of it, and then promptly forgot asthma treatment http://www.canadianpharmacy365.net/ or blatantly ignored most of what he said...
